Authors

For the 5th International Itasca Symposium, an extended abstract format is being requested. The extended abstract should be written in English and contain a minimum of 1000 words and a maximum of 1750 words. Up to two supporting figures and two tables may be included. Captions for these are not counted in the word limit. All submissions must be in Microsoft Word format.

Instructions

The abstracts presented at the Symposium will be published online in the Proceedings of the 5th International Itasca Symposium. To ensure uniform style throughout the proceedings, all abstracts must be prepared strictly according to the instructions outlined in the Author instructions document (PDF). For the convenience of the author, a Microsoft Word template file (*.docx) is available. Also, in order to protect the Work against unauthorized use and to authorize dissemination of the Work, it is necessary for the author(s) to transfer the copyright in a formal written manner using the Consent to Publish & Transfer of Copyright agreement (PDF).

Important Note

Please ensure that you follow the author instructions related to where to save, and how to use, the template to ensure that it does not become corrupt. If the font in the body of your extended abstract is not Times New Roman, please review.

Submit Extended Abstract

All extended abstract submissions are due by June 15, 2019. Itasca symposia are peer reviewed by relevant professionals on the Symposium Technical Committee. Authors will be notified of acceptance and any edit requests by September 15, 2019. If you have any questions about the extended abstracts, instructions, template, or your submission, please contact Michele Nelson at papers@itascacg.com.
